Setting the Wedding Stage
Hunter and Brandon were married in early September of 2023 at Chatham Station, and it was a lovely celebration of these two from those they love. While the ceremony and first looks were indoors, this couple took advantage of our outdoor patio as well.
Hunter’s gown was absolutely beautiful, with lace detailing and a flowing skirt. She shared first looks with her parents and with Brandon, and both viewings were emotional and sweet. Hunter’s parents teared up once they saw her, and she and Brandon read their vows to each other and could not stop smiling. It was clear they were ready to meet at the end of the aisle.
Saying Their “I Dos”
Throwing the Party
Chatham Station was beautifully decorated in white, blue and green, which made everything look clean, classic and sophisticated. With all of the natural light coming in, and our wall of sheer curtains, everything was soft and dreamy. The combinations of blue, teal, green, grey and white popped against our neutral interiors.
Hunter and Brandon wanted white florals as the accent to their blues and greens. They displayed photos of themselves from their relationship throughout the reception space. It was such an intimate and fun touch.
During the reception, guests were also treated to games of cornhole using custom made boards. Teams for the bride and groom played throughout the evening.
During the reception itself, there were lots of photos (making use of the greenery wall!), lots of toasts and laughter, and of course, cutting the cake and plenty of yummy food. The couple repurposed the herringbone wall from their ceremony to use behind the sweetheart table.
One of the best moments of any Chatham Station wedding is the sparkler send-off. We certainly understand why newlyweds and their guests love it. It always feels like the crescendo after so much planning and excitement. Congratulations to Hunter and Brandon on their new life together!
